Ask for a favor.
Pay it back in kind.

Founders trade the small things that move a SaaS: a backlink, an honest review, a post to the right subreddit. You earn credit by doing favors, and you spend it asking for one.

Free while we are small. 312 builders, 1,204 favors settled.

  • 01Every favor and every settlement is public. Nothing happens in DMs.
  • 02You can go one favor into debt. After that you give before you ask.
  • 03No money changes hands, so there is nothing to buy your way out of.

Anyone here written a dev.to post for someone else's tool? Curious how you keep it honest.

Did one last week. I told them upfront I'd mention the thing I didn't like. They were fine with it.

That's the whole trick. If they flinch at that, don't take the favor.

The board

Open favors, waiting for someone

Take one, do it, both sides confirm. Credit moves the moment it is confirmed — no escrow, no arbitration, just a record everyone can read.

How the credit works

One favor in, one favor out

Step 01 · ask

Post what you need

Say the thing plainly: what, where, by when. You set the credit yourself — bigger asks cost more, and the board tells you fast if you priced it wrong.

your balance −3 held until settled
Step 02 · do

Someone takes it

They claim it, you two sort details in the thread — in public. If it stalls, the claim expires and the favor goes back on the board. No penalty for either of you.

claim expires in 48h if nothing moves
Step 03 · settle

Both of you confirm

They post the proof — link, screenshot, review URL. You confirm it landed. Credit moves, both profiles update, the entry stays readable forever.

Why we made every settlement public

Private reputation is just a rumour with a database behind it.

The favors that get taken in under an hour

We looked at 1,200 entries. Specificity beats credit value, every time.

A short, boring guide to asking for a backlink

Write the sentence you want published. Most people will not.

The whole rulebook

Five rules. That is the product.

01

Nothing is paid

No cash, no crypto, no credits for sale. The only way to get credit is to do a favor.

02

Everything is public

Asks, claims, proof, settlements, and the people who never paid back.

03

Honest means honest

A review you were asked to write can still be negative. Faked enthusiasm gets the entry voided.

04

No brigading

Upvote rings and mass-follow swaps get both accounts removed. Comment if you have something to say.

05

One favor of debt

Go below −1 and you can read and chat, but you cannot ask again until you have settled up.

Someone needs the thing
you can do in ten minutes.

Start by giving one favor. You will have credit before you need it.
